A cloud computing company that had previously flown under the radar found itself on a bigger stage as “the cloud exploded” on the scene in 2010. The global technology PR and marketing firm they brought in turned to BFD to create a look and feel for their website that would meet their increased interest from the market.

BFD reviewed the existing marketing properties, products and services, and current website and after a thorough market assessment determined that the firm’s key potential clients would likely be small to mid-sized organizations with limited IT resources and background. BFD shifted the site’s content and look and feel from technology-focused to a less threatening features/benefits approach that borrowed design elements from popular consumer technology sites.

We also brought forward the customer case studies section and built in functionality that would later allow the site to provide direct sale and self-provisioning of lower-margin cloud services as the market adapted.
